HISTORY:
The Heinkel He 111 was the backbone of the German fighter aviation units at the beginning of the Second World War. The P version in particular, with its characteristic, fully glazed nose cockpit, shaped the image of this medium-weight bomber and gave it an unmistakable silhouette. This aerodynamic optimisation significantly improved visibility for the crew and became the hallmark of the "Battle of Britain". The He 111 is now considered one of the most iconic aircraft designs of the 1930s and 40s. With this kit, you can bring home a piece of this technical history on a monumental scale.
