The MiG-21 is one of the most recognizable fighter jets in the history of military aviation. A symbol of the air power of the Warsaw Pact and an inseparable element of the sky over Eastern Europe during the Cold War.

Now you can recreate this legendary aircraft in the form of a detailed brick model with Czechoslovakian or German Democratic Republic (GDR) markings.

• Choice of Czech and East German markings – the model allows you to build an aircraft with Czechoslovak or German Democratic Republic markings. All markings, tactical numbers and insignia are made as durable prints, without the use of stickers, which significantly increases its collector's value.

• Reproduced emblem – On the front of the fuselage in the Czechoslovak version, there is a drawing-emblem of a wolf on a green background. This is a precisely reproduced emblem of the fighter jet with the number 9414, which served in the 43rd Fighter Squadron at the Čáslav air base.

HISTORY:

The MiG-21 was one of the most important third-generation jet fighters, designed in the Soviet Union and widely used by the Warsaw Pact countries. In Poland, it entered service in 1963, and its subsequent variants remained in operation until 2003.

The aircraft also played a key role in the GDR, where it formed the backbone of the fighter aviation responsible for protecting a critical section of the Cold War air border, and in Czechoslovakia, where for decades it was the basic air defence fighter.

The MiG-21 was used not only in Poland, the GDR, Czechoslovakia and the USSR, but also in dozens of countries around the world. It participated in numerous conflicts in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America, permanently entering the history of global military aviation as one of the most widespread and effective supersonic designs.
