Cobi 1/35 Scale 8.8 cm Flak 18 with Carriage Model Kit
The classic version of the 8.8 cm Flak 18 set with a trailer is a real treat for military enthusiasts, model collectors and fans of realistic brick constructions.
This is not just an ordinary cannon. This is the legendary "Eighty-Eight," a weapon that sowed fear on land and in the air, destroying tanks, aircraft and fortifications... and now it can take a place of honour on your shelf.
Despite the strict limitations imposed on Germany after World War I, Krupp engineers, in cooperation with the Swedish Bofors, created a design ahead of its time. The 88 mm calibre became a symbol of German artillery power, a weapon that the Allies spoke of with genuine respect.
The Flak 18 was mounted on a characteristic cross-shaped carriage, allowing for rapid rotation and firing in a full 360° range. The heavy, massive and impressive gun required powerful tow vehicles, initially three-axle trucks, and later the Sd.Kfz.7 and Sd.Kfz.8 half-track tractors, which are permanently etched in its combat history.
FEATURES:
360-piece set - The set includes a detailed model of the German 8.8 cm Flak 18 gun mounted on a Sonderanhänger 201 trailer. The gun can be deployed on a cross-shaped mount or transported on the trailer. The trailer can be attached to vehicles of the same scale, making the set an ideal element for dioramas and battle scenes.
Realistic 1:35 scale - The model is large enough to impress with its details, yet compact enough to easily display in a display case or on a shelf.
Luftwaffe artillerymen figures - The set includes two figures of soldiers to operate the gun, each equipped with a Mauser 98K rifle. The soldiers in their characteristic German steel helmets look as if they have just dismounted from an Sd.Kfz.8 tractor and are preparing the gun for battle. One of the artillerymen has interchangeable headgear; his helmet can be replaced with a forage cap.
Faithful reproduction of details - Every element, from the cross-shaped mount, through the protective shield and rotating mechanisms to the transport trailer, has been designed with maximum realism and durability in mind.
Movable parts of the cannon - The model offers numerous functions: adjustable barrel elevation angle, full 360° rotation, folding combat supports and functional knobs. This allows you to create dynamic battle scenes, perfect for both play and display.
Collectable accessories - The set includes brick-built projectiles, an ammunition box and a white collector's plaque with the set name and scale designation.
Durable prints – All markings are made with durable prints. Without stickers, the model retains its appearance for years.
