Balsa wood is one of the most versatile woods available for crafters and modellers. It offers the ideal balance between strength and flexibility and can be carved easily with standard woodworking tools. So whether you’re using it for balsa wood model kits, aircraft kits, film props or surfboards, balsa wood is an excellent option to build your masterpiece.
All of the balsa wood supplied by Hobbies is plantation grown and harvested over a four-year period, making it one of the most environmentally-friendly woods available. AAA grade balsa is the finest quality balsa wood on the market, and we provide a range of thicknesses and sizes. All craft equipment panels are sold per single (excluding bargain packs)
