HISTORY:

This version of Godzilla made its debut in the 1999 Japanese film Godzilla 2000: Millennium, which marked Toho's return to the character and launched the Millennium era of Godzilla films. The movie introduced a dramatically redesigned Godzilla, with a more reptilian appearance, dark green skin and particularly large, jagged dorsal fins.

In the film, Godzilla once again threatens Japan while a mysterious ancient UFO emerges from the sea. The alien lifeform aboard attempts to use Godzilla's remarkable regenerative DNA to adapt to Earth's environment, ultimately transforming into the monstrous Orga and setting the stage for a climactic battle between the two kaiju.

The distinctive 1999 design became one of the defining appearances of the Millennium era, giving the King of the Monsters a sharper and more aggressive look for the beginning of a new generation of Godzilla films.

Paints and glue are required to complete this model kit. Not included. Available separately.
