HISTORY:
Launched in Japan in October 2007, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X was the tenth and ultimately final generation of Mitsubishi's legendary Lancer Evolution. It represented a major departure from its predecessors, introducing a new platform, a more rigid body and a new 2.0-litre turbocharged 4B11 MIVEC engine in place of the long-serving 4G63.
The Evolution X also introduced Mitsubishi's advanced Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system, integrating technologies including Active Centre Differential, Active Yaw Control, stability control and ABS to deliver exceptional traction and handling. Depending on the version and market, it was available with either a five-speed manual gearbox or Mitsubishi's new six-speed Twin Clutch SST transmission.
Combining aggressive styling with sophisticated four-wheel-drive technology and turbocharged performance, the Evolution X continued the performance heritage established by earlier generations of the Lancer Evolution. It remained the final generation of the Evolution before production of the model came to an end.
Paints and glue are required to complete this model kit. Not included. Available separately.
Plastic Magic Cement is a thin, liquid plastic cement with a 10-15 sec adjustment time & non-clog action. It is non-toxic, non-flammable, has minimal odour and almost zero emissions when compared to competitors.
