The Hawker Hurricane, a hero of the Battle of Britain, holds a significant place in British aviation history. It was the first RAF production aircraft to break the 300mph barrier and the first monoplane fighter equipped with multiple guns in RAF service. During the Battle of Britain, thirty-two Squadrons of Hurricanes were deployed, where this extraordinary aircraft demonstrated its capabilities in defending the skies over England against the Luftwaffe, securing its legendary status in World War II.
