Aeronaut 1/6 Scale Comtesse Luxury Yacht Model Kit
A dream in exquisite mahogany, combined with luxurious leather and sporty fittings. That's one way to describe the Comtesse.
This sporty luxury yacht could easily be found on the lakes frequented by high society in Geneva, Como, Garda, or Lausanne. No expense has been spared on exclusive features for this model. The boat is delivered with the usual precise Laser kit quality.
The hull is constructed using a frame-and-beam method on a supplied building jig. The hull is planked with large, pre-cut mahogany veneers. The removable cockpit is upholstered in white imitation leather, as are the seats and dashboard. The bathing platform and steps are particularly ingenious, featuring a pearwood veneer inlay that creates a striking yet stylish effect. The boat is powered by two electric motors driving two shafts.
The propeller shafts with stern tubes are included in the kit. The motor mount is designed for 50 mm motors. Two 4S LiPo batteries are suitable for propulsion. The Comtesse has a very wide speed range; the boat can cruise slowly along the shore but can also reach high speeds as a sport boat. You will need two motors, two speed controllers, two shaft couplings, and two propellers for propulsion.
The model kit contains all precisely cut wooden parts, plenty of fine mahogany veneer, artificial leather, fittings, cut-outs, photo-etched parts made of nickel silver, detailed building instructions with 3D construction step drawings, and a building jig.
