Unimat functions

Sander

The sanding disc provides the perfect finish to your parts after cutting and shaping. The sander can also be detached for hand held use. Disc size: 50mm

Jigsaw

The powerful Jigsaw can be used for plywood, balsa, plastic and thin sheets of metal, It is ideal for fretwork, cutting out dolls house windows, doors and creating your very own jigsaws. Table size: 90 x90mm.

Precision Lathe

Enables elaborate pieces to be produced in a wide variety of woods. With a distance between centres of 135mm (which can be expanded to 324mm) and a maximum centre height of 25mm (extend-able to 50mm with optional riser block Ref: 164036) The wood lathe smoothly turns a range of parts.

Turn soft metals like a professional toolmaker. Longitudinal and cross slides with a mm- scaled hand wheel, allows for precise work to an accuracy of 0.03mm! Built with quality components the Unimat 1 allows the user to produce fine items such as axle, gears, couplings, rims and pulleys.

Hand held & Bench Drill

Using 3 precision slides, 2 of which can rotate through 360 degrees, the bench drill is capable of precise drilling in every conceivable angle. The drill unit can also be removed for hand held use.

Drill size capacity: 0.5 - 6mm. Maximum working height of working area 120mm (expandable with optional accessories)

Milling

The fittings provided allow for horizontal and vertical milling in woods, plastics, metals and many other materials. An HSS milling cutter is included but you can use virtually any commercially available milling cutters up to a fixing diameter of 6mm. Mill Data: Longitudinal travel: 50mm, Cross travel: 30mm (expandable with optional accessories)
