Tamiya 1/72 Scale Lockheed Martin F-35B Lightning II
The Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II is an American family of single-seat, single-engine, all-weather stealth multirole combat aircraft that is intended to perform both air superiority and strike missions.
Designed to operate from austere bases and a range of air-capable ships with its short takeoff/vertical landing capability, the F-35B can also takeoff and land conventionally from longer runways on major bases. F-35B aircraft have been delivered to the U.S. Marines and the U.K., whose forces are training together.
The Royal Air Force and Royal Navy both operate the F-35B, known simply as the Lightning in British service. The F-35 is to be Britain's primary strike aircraft for the next three decades. One of the Royal Navy's requirements for the F-35B was a Shipborne Rolling and Vertical Landing (SRVL) mode to increase maximum landing weight by using wing lift during landing.

Decals depict the patterns of radar wave absorbing sheet.
Includes one Tamiya pilot figure and two marking options for the American Marines.
This plastic model kit will require paints and glue to be completed.
